Why was Sora İK developed?
Sora İK was developed so that businesses running human resources (HR) processes on spreadsheets, email and paper forms can bring this work together on a single platform. The product starts from four needs:
- Calculation infrastructure based on Turkish legislation: Preparing Türkiye-specific processes such as leave entitlement, payroll and SGK (Social Security Institution) premiums from the same data (modules)
- Published prices: Publishing plan prices, user limits and purchase steps on the site (pricing)
- Data protection from the start: Clearly stating roles and sub-processors under KVKK (Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698) (security)
- Local focus: Turkish as the source language, prices in Turkish lira and a product developed by a team in Türkiye
How does the Sora İK team work?
The Sora İK team applies to its own product the approach Sora Yazılım Teknolojileri takes in client projects: understand the need first, develop in short cycles and show progress openly. On the product side, this approach translates into three principles:
- Cautious language on legislation: Calculations are designed according to legislation; instead of article numbers or rates, the site links to official sources.
- Proportionate data use: Forms make only the necessary fields mandatory, and personal data in system logs is kept to a minimum: email addresses are masked, and the login log keeps only the network prefix of the IP address.

How does a coming-soon module become available?
A coming-soon module becomes available after going through the following steps:
- The related HR process and any official legislation it is based on are reviewed.
- The data the module needs and who will access that data are determined.
- The module is developed and its data flow with the other modules is tested.
- When the module becomes available, its badge changes to "Available"; if needed, its own page opens and the section on its category page links to that page.
