What need will the employee experience modules address?
Employee experience modules will focus not on the transactional side of human resources (HR) processes but on how employees experience their relationship with the company and the HR team: How engaged do they feel, how easily do they find answers to their questions, how well can they connect with their team? All modules in this category are coming soon to Sora İK (Sora Yazılım Teknolojileri's human resources management software). The reason is that core records need to be in place first for these modules to produce meaningful results: viewing survey results by department depends on the organizational structure, and routing a help desk question to the right person depends on role and permission definitions.
Today, the available modules closest to this need are in other categories:
- Employee & Manager Self-Service: to give employees direct access to their own leave requests, payslips and PDKS clock-ins.
- Workflow & Approval Designer: to define whose approval leave requests go to; approval flows for other request types are coming soon.
- Reporting & People Analytics: to track indicators such as headcount and turnover rate.
All categories, with available modules and those coming soon, are listed on the Modules page.
How is trust protected in a system that listens to employees?
Employee experience data includes personal and sensitive information such as employees' opinions and questions; if employees do not trust that this data will not be used against them, they will not answer honestly. That is why the modules in this category are being designed around the following principles:
- In anonymous surveys, responses will be stored without being matched to individuals, and results will not be shown for groups with few responses.
- In identified surveys and help desk records, employees will be told from the outset who the data will be shared with.
- The Q&A bot will not make decisions about individuals; binding answers will always come from the HR team.
- Whether personal details such as birthdays appear on the social wall will depend on the employee's preference.
Informing employees and determining the purpose for which data is processed rest with the employer as data controller under KVKK (Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698). In the Document & Contract Management module, a read confirmation can be requested today, per person, for a document added to a personnel card; publishing company-wide documents such as privacy notices to all employees at once, with a read report, is coming soon. KVKK Compliance Management, which will track the personal data inventory, retention periods and destruction processes, is also among the modules coming soon. Our approach to technical and administrative measures is on the Security and data protection page, and plans are on the Pricing page.
What will the employee experience modules coming soon do?
The following modules are coming soon; their scope will be defined during development. eNPS (employee net promoter score), one of the survey types, is an indicator that uses a single question to measure how likely employees are to recommend the company as a place to work.
| Module | What it does |
|---|---|
| Employee Surveys | Measure employee engagement and reasons for leaving regularly and comparably |
| HR Help Desk & Chatbot | Let employees send questions through a recorded channel and find answers to common questions in the company's knowledge base |
| Events & Social Wall | Announce company events, track participation and make room for informal sharing |
Employee Surveys Coming soon
The Employee Surveys module is planned to measure employee engagement, day-to-day sentiment and reasons for leaving regularly and comparably. Comprehensive engagement surveys can run at set intervals and short pulse surveys more often, and eNPS results can be tracked across periods. The exit survey will be sent to departing employees as part of the Onboarding & Offboarding steps. With general-purpose form tools, results do not match organizational data and comparing periods is difficult; the planned module will break results down by department, location and seniority. Ready-made question sets and the company's own questions can be combined, and the survey calendar and reminders can be set at a frequency that does not wear employees out. Exit survey responses will allow reasons for leaving to be compared across periods and departments. In anonymous surveys, results for small groups will be hidden so respondents cannot be identified. Recording the actions that come out of survey results, with an owner for each, is also intended: measuring alone is not enough, and employees want to see what happens after the results.
HR Help Desk & Chatbot Coming soon
HR Help Desk & Chatbot will be available soon to collect the questions employees direct to HR in a recorded channel and to suggest answers to frequent questions from the company's own knowledge base. Questions about how a leave balance is calculated, what a payroll item means or where to get a document fill the HR team's day with repeated answers. In the planned module, each question will be opened as a ticket, routed to the right person by category and tracked by status. Company policies and frequently asked questions will be collected in a knowledge base; the Q&A bot will suggest answers using only this published content and will show the content it relies on. There is no promise that the bot's answers will be correct; questions it cannot answer with confidence, that involve personal circumstances or that concern sensitive topics such as health and discipline will go to the HR team. The bot will not make decisions that affect individuals, such as leave approval or pay. Questions that require action can be turned into the employee requests work in the employee management category.
Events & Social Wall Coming soon
Events & Social Wall is planned to announce internal events, track participation and give employees a controlled space for informal sharing. Training days, celebrations, volunteering activities or team gatherings are mostly announced in messaging groups today; attendance is collected by asking around, and employees at other locations can be left out. In the planned module, events will be announced to the target group, employees will be able to indicate attendance, and post-event sharing will be collected in one place. Attendance records can also be used later, for example to see who joined a volunteering program. The social wall will make room for posts such as welcome messages for new joiners, work anniversaries and team achievements. Whether personal details like birthdays are shown will depend on the employee's preference; moderation and reporting mechanisms for posts are also being considered. This module is not the official announcement channel: policy and procedure announcements belong to the announcements work in the employee management category. Sharing recognition messages from the performance and development category visibly on the social wall is also intended.
